Reporting a test that misbehaves
The tests here touch parts of the browser that vary a lot between devices, so reports about specific combinations are genuinely useful. Please include:
- The browser and version, and the operating system.
- The device, particularly if it is a phone, a tablet or a television.
- Which page, and what you expected to happen instead.
Two known behaviours that are not bugs. On iPhone, Safari refuses the full screen API entirely, so the tool covers the viewport with an overlay and leaves a strip of browser chrome visible. And a refresh rate that wanders rather than settling on one number is normal on a display with variable refresh, which changes the rate continuously by design.
Corrections to the guides
The guides make specific claims about what causes screen faults and what can be done about them, and specific claims can be wrong. If something here is inaccurate, or if a manufacturer policy has changed since it was written, say so and it will be corrected. Corrections that come with a source get handled fastest.
Embedding
The tool is free to embed and the snippet is on the embed page. If the iframe breaks on your platform, send the page URL and what you are seeing, and it will be looked at.
What cannot be answered here
Individual repair diagnosis is outside what an email can do well. If you have a fault and are not sure what it is, the fastest route is to run the monitor test and read the guide that matches what you see, because those pages describe the fault far more precisely than a reply could. Questions about whether a specific warranty will cover a specific defect have to go to the manufacturer, since the thresholds differ by brand, model and region.
